 The ThermaSplint Splinting Pan shall be used as a reservior for heating thermal plastics used for splinting.
Model TS-1 is appropriate in a small medical facility. The unit
has an inner tank 19-1/4"L x 12"W x 5"D which can hold approximately 5
gallons of melted thermal plastic.
Model TS-2 is appropriate in a larger medical facility. The unit
has an inner tank 24-3/4"L x 19-3/4"W x 5"D which can hold
approximately 10 gallons of melted thermal plastic.
The pan is constructed of heavy duty stainless steel with double
wall insulation. This contributes to a long life of trouble-free energy
efficient operations. A separate rack with handles is included for the
easy removal of the thermal plastic.
Temperature control includes an easy read digital thermometer
and thermostat. These features provide the healthcare professional a
100º F to 185º F temperature range to handle most splinting materials.
A safety shut-off feature turns off the heating when the temperature
reaches
190ºF.
Other features include an illuminated on and off switch to
easily determine if the unit is in operation. A hinged doublewalled top
lid also assists in maintaining the temperature.
Easy clean up features include round bottom edges and a 1/2" NPT male drain outlet assembly operated with a ball valve. |
