Whitehall BestCare® Universal Aluminum Grab Bar

The BestCare® universal design Grab Bar features a thoughtfully engineered shape that eliminates common ligature points, enhancing safety for all users. With one open end designed to effectively drain residual water in shower applications, promoting hygiene and safety. Its reversible and variable length design accommodates a wide range of installation needs, making it versatile for both horizontal and vertical mounting to suit diverse spaces and user preferences. This adaptable feature ensures the grab bar can be installed in various environments, from bathrooms to accessible public spaces.

Construction is of cast aluminum to provide strength. Standard color furnished is Snow White (EG10) Enviro-glaze® Powder Coat.

Vandal-Resistant Mounting Hardware provided consists of Stainless Steel Screws, #10 x 2" Torx Flat Head with Center Reject Pin and are powder coated white. Wall Anchors shall be provided by others to suit Wall construction. Unit is intended for installation on a finished wall from the fixture (front) side.

ADA Accessibility: Grab Bar design complies with ADA Standards for Length, Gripping Clearance of 1-1/2" (38 mm) from mounting surface to inside of Grab Bar and for Structural Strength (allows vertical and horizontal force of 250 pounds(113.398 kg). Grab Bars incorporating Closure Plate are subject to the interpretation and requirements of the Local Code Authority (AHJ).
