BestCare® Ligature-Resistant ADA Roll-In Shower Base with Front or Rear Trench Drain

Ligature-Resistant Corterra® Solid Surface Shower Base combine attractive looks with a spacious, easy to maintain shower receptacle that features a non-slip, matte finish. Roll-In Stall Shower Floors are designed for versatility,durability and ease of installation.

Construction is Corterra® cast solid surface, color furnished is Blanco Matte (White) and is Greenguard Gold listed, cUPC certified by IAPMO R & T and complies to ASTM F 462-79 (R-2007), "Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Slip-Resistant Bathing Facilities."

Three (non-threshold) sides are provided with Integral Tiling Flanges. ADA Compliant Shower Bases are intended for Roll-in shower stalls. Base includes covered interior corners and are pitched to the Drain Outlet to ensure positive drainage.

Installation: Bases are provided with a lowered threshold height and must be recessed into the finished floor to facilitate ADA compliance: Additionally, ADA Models require the Shower Walls to be built out to cover the Shower Base Shoulders to maintain the inside stall dimensions.

Standard Drain includes a Trench Drain with a Ligature-Resistant Removable, Stainless Steel Trough Style Grate with vandal-resistant fasteners. All units are provided with a 2" No-Caulk Drain Connection.

Overall base dimension: 62.50" (1588 mm) wide and 31.13" (791 mm) front-to-back Inside base dimension: 60" (1524 mm) wide and 30" (762 mm) front-to-back

This shower base is ADA compliant with a small 0.5" (12.7mm) high threshold to allow for easier wheelchair access. Other ADA compliance issues will need to be addressed including but not limited to shower and grab bars. Reminder: ADA compliance is subject to local code authority.

Ligature-Resistance is provided with the drain choices. Trench drain (front or back). Various Corterra® solid surface color choices are available.
