END BREAKAGE WITH STAINLESS STEEL Bariatric patients require plumbing fixtures with higher maximum weight capacities than average fixtures found in healthcare facilities. Traditional vitreous china toilets support only about 500 lbs., and are more likely to break and cause injury to patients. Traditional porcelain toilets can buckle under immense pressure, shattering and creating sharp and dangerous debris.
