BestCare® Ligature-Resistant Handheld Shower and Collapsible Mounting Bracket
WHCHS is a handheld shower with a ligature-resistant adapter base. It includes a 60-inch (1.524 meters) flexible stainless steel hose, handheld shower, and a collapsible handheld shower mounting bracket.
This product is designed for use with supervision. Place the hose shower head in a safe and secure location when not in use. This item is not sold as a “breakaway Hose.” The WHCHS is a Quick-Disconnect design (only), used for removal of the Handheld Shower, however, without a ligature point remaining on the Socket end after removal. The Handheld Shower Mounting Bracket includes an Auto-release hook with an adjustable release range of 0 to 25 lbs. The release point is factory set to release at 10 lbs. +/- 2 lbs. at the base of the hook.
Note: For maximum ligature resistance a fixed Conical Shower Head is recommended such as WHCSH or WHD-SHD-W. Verify local requirements to ensure ADA compliance.
